Guest Musician: Playing Strangers
Playing Strangers is a collaboration of song writers and players from various parts of the world living in Northland who share their music, backing each other up with instruments or voice. Brigitte describes the sound of their music as “hopeful melancholic rock with a strong infusion of meaningful lyrics”.
For this Auckland gig, the band invited Rutger de Ridder to play sax with them. Ezra will be the main singer and the bass player will step out of her comfortable purring position to hit the mic as well. It will be the last performance for French Farine before he leaves the country for good and for love the next day.
Starts at 8
