Guest Poet: Makyla Curtis

Makyla Curtis is Scots Pākehā. She recently completed an MA on poetic mark-making at the University of Auckland, and is currently studying for a Diploma in Languages in te reo Māori. Makyla was mentored by Vivienne Plumb in 2017 through the NZ Society of Authors mentorship programme, and she was the Emo Saikō poet in residence at the New Zealand Pacific Studio last December.
